The ENSIS ROGER is here to give you the freedom to foil like never before. It folds away easily when you want to ride the swell, uninterrupted and unhindered, and effortlessly redeploys when needed again. The color-coded wing, bar, and bridles make finding the leading and trailing edge quick and simple. A stable design, precise power control, and excellent upwind performance make the ENSIS ROGER more than just a downwind tool – it offers experienced foilers an unmatched experience on the water.
We are stoked to launch new sizes and features of the ROGER parawing. The ROGER is now available in new sizes: 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0. The expanded range introduces fresh features designed to elevate every session. The ENSIS ROGER is here to give you the freedom to foil like never before.
Key features
New: High low-end power
The leading-edge profile has been refined to increase low-end power, making it easier to generate speed and get onto the foil.
New: Depower Control System
Our Depower Control System keeps you in control across the entire wind range. The parawing can be flown entirely on the front set of bridles, completely depowered, while remaining stable in both light and strong winds.
New: Easy to pack
With shorter lines and fewer bridles, packing and folding the wing becomes easier, reducing both the pack volume and weight.
Unmatched stability
The ROGER provides a stable and reliable flying experience, maintaining its balance even in gusty or varied wind conditions, so you can fly with confidence.
Precise power control
The ROGER’s bar and bridle system provides precise control over the angle of attack, allowing you to easily adjust power levels to match your needs, from generating power to minimizing it on the fly.
Effortless deployment
Designed for quick and easy unfolding, the ROGER avoids tangling even when wet or crumpled. With just a little tension on the bridles, the wing immediately takes shape and is ready to take off.
Exceptional upwind performance
The ROGER’s design provides outstanding upwind capabilities, giving you the freedom to explore beyond just downwind riding and opening up new possibilities on the water.
Ergonomic bar
The egg-shaped, lightweight bar reduces strain on the arms and enables precise control.
Color-coded for quick orientation
The parawing, bar, and bridle lines are color-coded, helping you quickly identify the leading and trailing edges for easy orientation and fast redeployment, even in challenging conditions.
Easy handling
Thanks to its stable profile, reliable power control, intuitive deployment, and color-coded orientation, the ROGER offers a user-friendly and enjoyable foiling experience.
Tech features
New: Quick links with inserts
The quick links are secured with practical inserts. This system makes managing and replacing bridles simple.
New: Quick sorting and relaunch
The center of the leading edge is clearly marked, helping you quickly orientate the parawing in the water for relaunch.
Comfortable and durable bridles
Made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, the ROGER’s bridles are exceptionally durable, withstanding water, salt, and sand. They are also comfortable to handle even in rough conditions.
Color-coded bridles
Blue lines are used for the leading edge bridle, to help riders quickly orientate and organize or detangle the lines with ease.
3-Point-Bridle System
The 3 bridles meet and attach to center-lines that connect to the bar. Optimal performance with minimal tangle.
Nylon wires for aerodynamics
Nylon wires along the leading edge support the ROGER’s aerodynamic shape, improving airflow efficiency, reducing drag, and improving strong wind performance.
Comfortable aluminum bar
The aluminum bar, padded with EVA foam and designed with rounded corners, provides both comfort and easy handling.
Single skin design
The single skin wing is light and very small when folded up into a package. Single skin design supports easy packing and deploying. parawing on beach held by man with sun behind
High-quality fabric
Constructed from proven, lightweight, and durable wing canopy material, the ROGER is buoyant, allowing it to float on the water’s surface until you’re ready to redeploy.
Paragliding precision meets foiling performance
Patrick Aggeler, product and wing designer at ENSIS, brings a wealth of knowledge from his background in paragliding design to his passion for foiling. When development began, Patrick was excited by the idea of creating a parawing, seeing it as the perfect cross of his two fields, bringing valuable elements to the design of the ROGER like performance, handling, and safety. The result is a parawing that delivers on every front, meeting every demand on the water.
Intuitive design, effortless handling
Every detail of the ROGER ensures seamless performance and intuitive use. The wing, bar, and bridles are color-coded, enabling riders to quickly identify the leading and trailing edges. The bridle layout minimizes the chance of tangling, but if a tangle does occur, our 3-Point Bridle System allows for easy untangling. The bar features a central hole through which the center bridles pass, attaching to a leash or harness. This setup simplifies depowering and redeployment.
